On and on and on....

No readings, no paper, no exams for a whole month. It's so strange and wonderful....
I've now done one side of the Spring Shawl border edging, rounded the bottom corner, and started the other side.
Oh, the excitement.
It's the loooong top edge that will be the Killer. And there are some upcoming cryptic instructions along the lines of "fit in an extra point here" that will be...interesting to work out, I'm sure.

So, what is next?
I'm thinking Bee Fields. Stay tuned....

I'm deeply in awe of your work, how on earth do you manage to get such detail correct?

I love those cryptic instructions. It's sort of "and then a miracle occurred" knitting.
Have you seen the Honeybee stole version of the Bee Fields pattern? I think she just put it up for sale last night or this morning, and it is gorgeous. My problem is trying to decide which of her patterns to knit first. They're all spectacular.

Sighs in envy. Gorgeous! Wonderful! Fabulous! Frozzle!
Which Bee shawl--triangle or rectangle?

That is really gorgeous. You do beautiful work.

Oh you! I have the pattern for the Spring Shawl and now that I have seen yours, I HAVE to knit it! I just have to figure out what yarn in the stash is enough for it. Will I resist and wait to cast on till I finish ROE? Hummm........

Jaw dropping beauty. That's how gorgeous that shawl is growing up to be.
I have the Bee Fields on my cue as well. What yarn are you thinking of using?

This is stunning! As is all of your work, by the way. I have this pattern, and it's next on my list, after I finish the G. Amedro Sheelagh shawl and the GOL Sampler stole. Isn't Shetland lace the very best??

That is stunning!Truly beautiful. Sigh. I dare not start another thing as I also continue on edging. Nothing so fine as yours though. Spring Shawl is on my list too but I dare say it will pale compared to yours. Incredible work!

edgings may be tedious at times but they really do make the shawl complete... as always stunning and an inspiration.....

So beautiful! I am in a mood for fair isle right now. But you and Jane make me wanting to do lace at the same time. I think I am giving in. :-)
Don't you love those overly simplified instructions? Lots of times you don't understand it until you get to that point in the knitting. And sometimes you just have to make things up yourself. :-)

I'd love to see you knit "Bee Fields", which I'm working on now. Then I could see how my own lace knitting stacks up against the master's!

I too am envious of your lovely lace ability. Rock on Miss A.
