Swallowtail shawl
Pattern by Evelyn Clark, Interweave Knits Fall 2006. Knit in Jaggerspun Zephyr, Suede.
Nupps are pretty, but I don't think I'll be going there again anytime soon.
Knit and blocked in one week. As compared to the Unst stole, which I've been working on since, um, March. (We're finally in the Unst home stretch! About 1/3 through with the final side of the edging. It's a very long side, though...)

Lovely, lovely! And I like the contrasting diagonal lines in the first picture! It's nice to have an "easy" lace project sometimes!

Your shawl is magnificent! I'm just masochistic enough to keep looking at your work while I'm slogging along on my edging. It gives me hope whenever I see someone who actually finishes their projects! Happy Holidays!

this looks lovely on you! I laugh whenever lace knitters talk about nupps--I'm not sure I'll ever experience them. I'll stick with my non-nupp knitting, thank you very much!
