Edgy

Unst%20edging%20detail.jpg

Started the edging for the Unst stole during a four-hour delay in the Fort Lauderdale airport on the way home. Continued during an insane day-long Full Metal Alchemist marathon before returning to work (sniff). Slow going and a bit terrifying at first (is this when the yarn is finally going to snap?), but most enjoyable now. It even has a spider insertion.

Sweet! What yarn are you using for the stole? It's on my list of Lace to Knit.

LOVELY! :-) I can't believe how quickly you're knitting it AND how many squares you've completed for the quilt. It's going to be so beautiful, I'm getting giddy just thinking about it! What will do with it once you're finished? Will you wear it?

It is lovely! I am swatching on the lace patterns too. I just hope mine would be as gorgeous as yours. Can I ask you a question? The pattern say use spare yarn to cast on and knit for 4 garter rows ... which cast on did you use? lace cast on or provisional co? Thanks.

Your edge looks wonderful. I can't belive you did that so fast. I will be knitting on edging this Thanksgiving but nothing so complicated! Can't wait to see the shawl all done.
