A preview
Glimpses of my latest completed shawl (previously seen pictured on the cat). There are not enough daylight hours during the work week for me to get any decent photos. Plus, I prefer sitting on the couch to setting up the tripod and taking pictures. Very selfish.
No pictures of our bastardized Passover/Easter dinner this year, Roni dear. Too busy cooking and eating and worrying about the taxes (which were harsh this year, my friends. harsh.). Also, no gefilte fish. What has become of me?

Spider Queen--finished
And finally blocked.
To recap: 47 days of knitting, slightly more than 8 oz of Jaggerspun Zephyr, and the seams weren't painful at all to sew up. Very satisfying all around.
When I wasn't blocking or painting the basement, I was admiring my pretty little flowers:
And digging a garden with Jon:
This humble patch of dirt (and oh-so-fragrant cow manure) will soon be a humble vegetable/herb garden. Baby steps, you know.
Playing in the dirt is lots of fun, but I naturally got my first sunburn of the season. On my lower back, from bending over. Damn low-rise jeans.
