Happy Friday Fun Time
I appreciate all of your comments about my organizational abilities, but some of you should know better. And you should see the rest of the house. :) Anyway, I had grown tired of digging around for things in plastic bins, bags, baskets, etc. and made the executive decision to commandeer bookshelves. Leaving some books homeless for the time being, but a trip to the friendly happy IKEA should remedy that.
And Oscar is a pretty good dog in that he doesn't regard yarn in skeins or balls as a tasty snack or clever toy. Knit it up into a hat and leave it in reach, though, and it's instant destruction.

How we love our Nyanko. How we miss living in a city where we could procure such items of cuteness without resorting to ebay....

In other news, work on the house is progressing, with the living room and kitchen in full working order and relatively pleasant to look at. Have just realized that we have houseguests coming next weekend, though, so a bit of alarm is setting in. Also, Mr. Plumber is paying a visit on Saturday to replace a sink and a pipe in the basement. The estimate for said repair work was quite cringeworthy. And so it begins....

Bunny on skates
Thanks for the house comments. We, too, think it's just adorable, although I haven't yet shown you the rampant floral wallpaper.... And yes, the shower did take some practice to figure out.
So, in the midst of starting a ridiculous amount of new projects since all of my crafting supplies are now relatively accessible, I did manage to finish another embroidery/small quilt.
She's wearing happy little old school skates.
Not quite as old school, though, as the metal ones I used to have that you adjusted with a key.

Moved in
In the sense that all of our belongings are now in the new house. Putting everything in its proper place is another story, let alone finding crucial items like the bottle opener and the iron....
